The Analysis By Drug report provides a list of prescriptions that have been dispensed for one or more specified drugs during the report period. Since this report identifies patients who use a particular drug, it is useful for drug recalls.

Report Critiera

In addition to listing all drugs that had activity during the report period, the report can be generated for:

  • One or multiple Drugs or TP PINs

    Tip: To generate the report for multiple DINs or TP PINs, separate each drug name or DIN by a forward slash, similar to how multiple DINs are entered in the New Prescription window (e.g. 2190915/216666).When multiple drugs are listed on the report, they are sorted by DIN.

  • Third Party

  • Group

  • Custom Class

  • Therapeutic Class.

Extended Report Criteria

Extended report criteria provides the following options:

  • Use Display drug name as to select the drug name format to print on the report.

  • When Include Deceased Patients is selected in the Extended report criteria, the report includes deceased patients; the word *DECEASED* appears to the left of the patient's address. When the checkbox is OFF, the report excludes deceased patients. The default setting for the checkbox is OFF.

  • An option to Show Last Filled Rx Only in the Extended report criteria means that you can include the most recent fill as listed in the audit history provided it was filled within the reporting period you select.
